DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Chadds Ford Earth Day event will be held on Saturday\, April 25th. \nChadds Ford Township Residents Association will host an Earth Day roadside cleanup on Saturday\, April 25 from 8am-12:00pm. Volunteers can meet for coffee\, donuts\, and supplies at the Chadds Ford Township Building\, 10 Ring Road Chadds Ford\, PA 19317\, at 8am. To register for the roadside cleanup: sign up here.  \nLunch will be provided for volunteers from 12-1pm at Brinton Run Preserve\, 6 Oakland Rd\, Chadds Ford\, PA 19317 courtesy of Chadds Ford Township’s Open Space Committee. \nActivities will resume after lunch until 4:00pm at Brinton Run Preserve\, 6 Oakland Road\, where volunteers can do light clean up around the preserve and help maintain tree shelters and trails. DESCRIPTION:In honor of Flag Day\, the Chadds Ford Township Residents Association and Chadds Ford Township will hold a flag collection on Sunday\, June 14th from 9am-11am at the Brinton 1704 House (21 Oakland Rd\, West Chester\, PA 19382). All flags collected will be retired in a ceremony at the Brandywine Battlefield Park just before Veterans Day on Saturday\, November 7\, 2026. We encourage all those dropping off a flag to explore the 1704 House\, which will be open to visitors during the hours of the flag collection. We hope to see you on the 14th!
