The Chadds Ford Township Residents Association is currently expanding its Board of Directors. If you are looking for a way to support our community and meet new people or neighbors, being a Board member is a great way to achieve those goals.
As a member, you know that the CFTRA does a lot a great work for the Township but we need people to help run our organization so we can continue:
- Spring and Fall Roadside Cleanups
- Annual Scholarship Award
- Citizen and Business of the Year Award
- Flag Retirement Events
- Holiday Tree Lighting
- Halloween Trunk and Treat
The time commitment is relatively small. Board members attend monthly Board meetings and participate in Committees. These committees oversee activities such as organizing events, managing membership, helping with website design and social media, overseeing our awards program, or reaching out to local businesses. Board members must be a resident of Chadds Ford Township, Delaware County.

Founded in 1963, the Chadds Ford Township Residents Association is a volunteer, non-profit, non-partisan, 501c3 organization whose mission is to create a strong sense of community within the township, support its residents and businesses, and help retain the area’s unique historical quality and rural character. CFTRA activities and programs are funded through memberships and donations.
